Pastiche Queen is a multidisciplinary performing artist, creative producer, and educator whose work redefines the boundaries of contemporary multi-media performance. Operating at the vital intersections of queer, trans, and Indigenous storytelling, Pastiche Queen crafts immersive, deeply collaborative performance spaces that explore the complex text of identity, resilience, and community history.
With over nine years of professional administrative and pedagogical leadership experience across corporate, academic, and non-profit environments, PQ brings an unparalleled level of execution and operational care to every appearance. A classically trained artist holding an MFA from the Professional Conservatory at the Art of Acting Studio (Stella Adler) and a dual BA in Theater and Politics from Whitman College, their artistic practice seamlessly blends rigorous rhetorical architecture with dynamic physical movement.
Pastiche's work has been featured on "Dear: Viola Davis", Facebook's "Queer Community Leaders of Color" Initiative, and numerous stages across the United States.
Beyond the stage, PQ is a dedicated institutional advocate and community builder. They serve on the Access Committee for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, driving progressive diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) policy strategies representing neurodivergent, Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ artist communities. Recognized competitively as an Artist-in-Residence at REDCAT (CalArts) and Da Poetry Lounge, and awarded the prestigious Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum Wordsmith Award, PQ made it a mission to become the representation of trans queer brown excellence they never saw on stage or screen growing up.Â
Whether delivering an electrifying headline multi-media showcase, leading intensive creative writing labs, or facilitating safe, empowering community talkbacks, Pastiche Queen balances artistic excellence with deep institutional accountability. Their signature micro-residency framework, "Pastiche Queen: The Solo Tour," is engineered to activate entire ecosystems, providing community members with the practical tools to translate personal narrative into public power.
